What’s included in the planning fee?

The planning fee covers custom research, destination recommendations, quote creation, itinerary development, and one round of revisions. It does not go toward the final trip cost.
Is the planning fee refundable?

Can I get a quote before paying the planning fee?

No. All research and pricing are done after the fee and intake form are submitted.
How long does it take to receive my quote?
Can I travel solo?

Absolutely! Many of our travelers come solo. Roommate matching is available for most trips unless otherwise stated.
Are deposits refundable?

All deposits and trip payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated in the trip-specific terms.
Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Most group trips have flexible monthly payment plans. You'll see the full payment schedule when booking.
What’s included in the group trip price?

Each trip includes accommodations, select meals, airport transfers, group activities, and a trip host. Inclusions vary by destination and are outlined on the trip page.
What if I miss a payment?

Please communicate in advance if you're unable to make a payment. Missed payments without communication may result in late fee or cancellation and forfeiture of funds paid.
Do you offer Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options?

Yes, on select trips and services — including PayPal Pay Later and Stripe. Please note: All BNPL payments are subject to provider terms and must be paid in full regardless of cancellation.
Are processing fees included?

Planning fees and monthly payments may be subject to a 3.5% + $0.30 processing fee.
Do you offer travel insurance?

Travel insurance is highly recommended and may be required for some trips. You may purchase coverage independently or request a quote from us.
Do you book flights?

Flight assistance is included in group trips and available upon request for individual bookings. We do not ticket flights directly but provide booking support and recommendations.
Can I book my own accommodations?

For group trips, all travelers must book through A Journey With Purpose to ensure a consistent experience and group coordination.
Do I need a passport?

Yes, for all international trips. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

Quotes are typically delivered within 3–5 business days after payment and completed intake form.
